Product Description

GrimmSpeed introduces the most complete and easy to use 3-Port Electronic Boost Solenoid for the Subaru WRX, STi, FXT, and Legacy GT available on the market. Our aftermarket boost controller allows you to raise the OEM boost levels in a quick and efficient manner. If you try to raise your boost on the weak OEM boost solenoid it will eventually start to become unpredictable and unable to maintain proper and safe boost levels. Using our solenoid you are able to spool your turbo quicker and maintain a rock solid boost level. In addition, we have designed our solenoid to withstand 120psi, way more than any Subaru will see!

Revolutionizing the Subaru boost solenoid market, we have created model specific install brackets that allow you to directly fit our Boost Solenoid into your Subaru for a factory fit. No more Zip-tying, we give you the factory fitment you have been waiting for.

Staying with the OEM fitment theme, our Boost Solenoid uses a Subaru-style wiring harness so you can simply unplug your OEM solenoid and plug ours in. No more cutting and crimping OEM wires together! Also new to the Subaru boost solenoid market, we have used ultra low-profile hose fittings to keep the unit as small and clean as possible. The hose fittings are nickel plated brass so you don't have to worry about them snapping off like the plastic hose fittings!

  • MAC Valve's has completely custom made the valve for us(only MAC valve on the market to be custom made for automotive tuning use).

AWD Tuning:
"The GS 3-port BCS provides rapid boost response while maintaining the ability to make acute adjustments via turbo dynamics. While many other boost control solenoids react to adjustments too fast which can make them difficult to control with as much finesse as the stock bleed system. This solenoid can make micro-adjustments at the edge of target boost not only providing better spool, but overall more control. "

"The GrimmSpeed™ BCS is a compact, well designed unit. Its design as a 3-port solenoid provides better boost control then the stock bleed-type style. Often, this enables a tuner to cut mapped wastegate duty cycles in half. This change in WGDC gives a tuner more granularity when tuning, and can yield much improved boost curves. In addition, the 3-port design often significantly improves spool."

    Very excited to say that this product was 100% compatible with my version 6 sti engine!! Fit perfectly onto the jdm bracket and plugged directly into the harness. Works flawless, very happy customer!!

    Easy to fit and works like a charm on my 03 Forester 2.0 XT.
    Bolt-on and discrete.
    Wish the included vacuum hose was a bit longer, and could have used a few hose clips because they are easy to lose.

    Very satisfied. They sent me the LGT bracket even thou I selected 2011 WRX but it still worked, just not as clean looking as the WRX bracket. I'm fairly new to modding cars and was able to follow the instructions with no issues! Highly recommend!

    Put the bcs on took about 30 plug n play, mounting brackets alittle different on the 05 wagon, had to mount it upside down , but definelty worth the money. spools faster, more boost, no more gitters in first gear... good upgrade

    "my stock setup couldn't give me more than 12 psi no matter how aggressively i set the duty cycles. I replaced the bleed system with this one, and it is awesome. This item gives you so much more control over the turbo. Now i feel the need to dig out my Controls Engineering book to fine tune the Turbo Dynamics for even better response.

    seriously, if you are thinking about getting one, just do it. it's worth it, and it takes about 30 minutes to install in the driveway with a leatherman and a 10 mm wrench."
