Better than expected
I just installed this and wow does it work, when I was stock, while cruising my intake temps were roughly 35-40 degrees higher than ambient. When I installed my cp-e intake they dropped roughly 5 deg. Then with the grimmspeed p&p and thermal coated intake manifold they dropped roughly 5 more deg. Well today I drove the car for the first time after installing the phenolic spacer and they dropped 10 more, while driving to work today my intake temps were only 15-18 degrees above ambient. Obviously the lower the temps, the denser the air, the more hp you make!
