Special Fitment Note: Supported fitments include only those vehicles running OEM STI and GrimmSpeed top mount intercoolers.
Just bought an aftermarket or STI TMIC that requires an STI y-pipe to fit? Want to replace your chewed up and leaking couplers? Maybe you're just looking to freshen up your engine bay with a touch of GrimmSpeed style. Well, there's something for everybody with the GrimmSpeed Y-Pipe Kit.
A number of factors were taken into consideration in the design of this kit. The biggest design decision was to create a two-piece kit instead of a single casting. The reason for this is simple. Because of our high-end manufacturing methods, the GrimmSpeed TMIC can hold insanely tight tolerances in the spacing and machining of the two inlet flanges. Unfortunately, many aftermarket manufacturers struggle to hold their tolerances tight enough to allow for a one-piece y-pipe that would fit every time. Our high-grade silicone couplers and stainless t-bolt clamps ensure that your connection between the two is leak-free. We designed the y-pipe pieces in CAD and balanced their flow using flow simulation software. We've provided a bypass recirculation hose to replace your brittle OEM piece while you have your intercooler removed as well as a fresh throttle body coupler.
Each casting is precision machined to our exacting specifications after the casting process is complete. Couplers are wrapped 5 plys thick with a heat-resistant fiber reinforcement between each layer to ensure that the couplers hold their shape even under the toughest conditions. Couplers are made from a durable, heat-resistant silicone that is guaranteed not to degrade or crack, even with thousands and thousands of heat cycles. Stainless steel T-bolt clamps are supplied for each and every connection. The other guys offer less complete kits with sub-standard castings, lower-quality couplers and fewer t-bolt clamps. We provide everything you need to be confident in the way that you're getting the pressurized air all the way from your turbo to your throttle body.

It looks great. But like the other guy said it doesn't fit right with the elbow. I had to cut some of the elbow just for it to sit okay and not kink the elbow. Other than that the red with the nice clamps adds a nice touch to the engine bay.

I bought the y pipe with the Grimmspeed Tmic 'cause the oem 04 wrx y pipe didn't fit right on the tmic and the quality is great, the y pipe with the black hoses was sold out but I didn't know 'til they called me the day it was supposed to come to me. The only problem i have is that it made a kink cause it doesn't onto the oem turbo right so I had to cut some of the silicon of the Y pipe. I had the first one paid for 2-day delivery so I didn't miss a deadline for my build and tune but they didn't have any available for a 2-day. Long story short customer service is always great, sadly missed my deadline.

I am currently running this y pipe kit with the big TMIC and a dom 2.5xtr on my 03' Wrx. The pipe itself is great easy install and overall flows really well. The only issues I have a with fitment. It hits the aftermarket pitch stop that I have install, and the throttle body cuppler doesn't sit as flush as I would like it to. If I didn't have the pitch stop I think it would lay perfect so take that into consideration if you don't have one in your car, or have more space for clearance.
*A note from GrimmSpeed: It's difficult to know just exactly how our y-pipe kit will work with other 'big' TMICs. We've designed our own to work perfectly with OEM STI y-pipes, but other manufacturers may not have. Glad it's working for you though!
