One of my favorite mods for my GT350R. Love hearing the full exhaust note of the 5.2 Voodo all the time, cold starts are amazing!! Exhaust note in 6th is perfect. Install was easy and took less than 15 min with putting the rear on ramps for clearance.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Easy install on the ground, took me maybe 15 minutes. The time spent was waiting for the exhaust valves to open up after shut-down, which took about 10 minutes. Cold starts are what they should be, and 6th gear cruising with the valves open is perfect. Thank you for creating an easy solution to a major discrepancy that Ford overlooked. 10 stars if able!
Exhaust valve defeat
By far the easiest mod I have ever installed. Took 10 min from jack up to cutting zip ties. Works like a charm. Sounds like a beast on cold start.

Exhaust Simulator Ford Focus RS
I have an MBRP catback which comes with a simulator. Drive mode issue surfaced after having it for 6 months. Could not get MBRP customer service to reply. Thought for only 30 bucks I’d give this a try. Replaced the MBRP sim with Grimm Speed sim and issue went away. Thanks Grimm Speed!
Solve the ‘drive mode selection not available’ problem for good!
This item solves that annoying “drive mode selection not available” error that is common on the Ford Focus RS. Installation is a 3 minute affair, and forever gone is that error. Just that burble exhaust and no more conversations with the dealer over that recurring error they can never fix.

Works exactly as advertised. A great product if you want to maximize your cold starts and if you want nothing but raw sound. Who likes quiet mode anyways!
Gt350 drive mode error
I put a Corsa catback on my Gt350 and afterwards lost the control over my drive modes due to the car recognizing the factory exhaust valves we not connected. These exhaust valves simulators plug straight into the factory harnesses and work as described and took 5 minutes to slap on.
Focus RS exhaust valve delete
Install was crazy easy. Wish it came with a plug for the other end. Noise difference is minuscule, I was hoping for a bit louder with the flap always open but I can’t really tell any difference, not to the fault of the module rather that’s how the stock exhaust sounds.
Back to Sport Mode!
Now that I can put my RS back into sport mode, I get a lot more crackles and pops with my new exhaust! Don't sleep on this product!
Solved my "Drive Mode Selection Not Available" errors
This works just as advertised. Simple to install and I am no longer getting "Drive Mode Selection Not Available" errors on my 2017 RS.
GrimmSpeed Exhaust Valve Defeat Module
Bought the product, and totally forgetting GrimmSpeed is based a couple hours away, recieved the plug in module in 2 days via base shipping after ordering over the weekend.
I was tired of my 2017 Focus RS throwing a Drive Mode not Available code just because I have a Borla Atak kit, so buying this and simply plugging it in, and tucking it away was a perfect fire and forget tactic. A total brain dead idiot like myself had it installed in less than 2 minutes, and the results are loud and fun to drive again.
Thanks GrimmSpeed for having a product like this available and in stock, I would definitely recommend to any of my fellow Focus drivers to pick this up, even if you're running stock exhaust.
