The factory pitch stop mount is often overlooked and leaves a lot of room for improvement, both in performance and aesthetics. The OEM piece is made from flexible plastic and utilizes soft bushings, which means the engine and transmission have more room to pitch back and forth instead of staying tight during hard acceleration, braking and shifting. The current GrimmSpeed Pitch Stop Mount solves this issue and the all new Race Version takes it a step further.
Just like the standard version, it's made from a single piece of billet 6061 aluminum and machined to shave off as much weight as possible, while remaining completely rigid. A heavy-duty red anodized coating is applied along with two laser-etched GrimmSpeed logos. To finish things off, extremely durable 95A-durometer urethane bushings (compared to 80A in the standard) and stainless steel sleeves are pressed in and each unit is individually inspected and packaged. With the Race Version Pitch Stop Mount equipped, the amount of play your engine and transmission have during hard acceleration, deceleration and shifting is minimized even further, with an emphasis on aggressive and track driving.

"This was one of the first mods I made to my car. Install was super easy; did it on my hour lunch break at work. There was absolutely a tone change with the engine and I could tell that the vehicle bucked less and seemed to be more rigid, but I think there is a possible placebo effect with power transfer. My gut says the engine bucking under load was reduced, but I'm just not certain of it. If for nothing else, this piece will last a ton longer than OEM and was easy to install."

Nice Change
"Used this on my 2019 Crosstrek. With the car being low HP, it's nice to get better feedback off of the pedal at stop and go's. Does add a little NVT but that was expected and honestly adds a nice sound in the cabin. Huge difference over the wimpy OEM Pitch Stop."
An Immediate and Noticeable Difference
"The hardest part about this install for me was getting the TMIC off & back on. You have to move it it back n forth quite a bit but after a few tries I go the hang of it. I have a 2020 STI, the bolt for the end of the PSM closest to the engine is the opposite from what GS's DIY's YouTube video shows, but other than that everything else is spot on. It also looks secxy AF in the engine bay. Like the subject like says of this review, there was an immediate and noticeable difference. First start up you really hear the transmission noise. The intake sounded meatier and rumbled a bit more. I took it on a test drive and I was stunned by how smooth the acceleration between gears felt. On the stock PSM you'd have a jerk between gears... none of that with this. Honestly I was stunned by how such a simple upgrade can much such a massive difference in the how the car drives and how the car sounds. I was absolutely blown away! Great product, definitely would recommend!"
