We didn’t just want less throw; we wanted the right feel. So we engineered this unit to bring crisp, confident action to every shift. Throw reduction is adjustable from 0% to 26.3%, and the shift knob height can be dialed in from +0.3” to -1.0” vs stock, depending on preference. But what really makes this special is what’s inside: we’re the only brand offering a true drop-in STI short throw shifter with sealed ball bearings. And not just any bearings; we chose Enduro MAX bearings, designed to handle heavy pivoting loads with maximum strength and precision. These deliver 35–40% more load capacity than traditional radial bearings and featuring full-contact, double-lip labyrinth seals to keep out grit and grime.
This isn’t a chopped-down stock lever or recycled design. We started with a full 3D scan of the STI’s factory shifter and linkage, modeled everything in CAD, and tested multiple designs to ensure exact fitment, optimal travel, and a refined shift feel. We carefully balanced geometry to keep the neutral knob position close to OEM—even with shorter throw settings. Laser-etched reference marks let you adjust both throw and knob height with precision. Final Notes
*At the most aggressive throw setting, minor rubbing may occur between the shift linkage and the rubber gasket in 1st and 3rd gears. One of the laser-etched marks will show the max-recommended setting before interference occurs. Trimming the gasket is possible but not recommended.
