That’s why we’ve doubled down on our commitment to emissions compliance, taking proactive steps to get our most popular parts SEMA certified and, where possible, CARB Executive Order (EO) approved.

The First Win: GrimmSpeed 2-Bolt Up-Pipe for EJ25 Engines
We’re proud to announce that our GrimmSpeed 2-Bolt Up-Pipe for EJ25 Engines is now officially SEMA certified.
Built from 14-gauge stainless steel, with ½” CNC-milled flanges and a 321 stainless flex joint, it’s designed for durability, fast turbo spool, and consistent performance.
And now, it’s one of the few up-pipes on the market that’s been tested and certified to meet emissions standards through SEMA’s rigorous emissions lab process.
We’re also currently working through the CARB EO (Executive Order) process for this part, which would make it legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California and other CARB-aligned states.

This is just the beginning. We’ve already started the testing process on several more GrimmSpeed products and will continue to work closely with SEMA Garage to push for wider certification across our lineup. Our goal is to give enthusiasts more peace of mind—knowing that they can install GrimmSpeed parts without sacrificing legality.
